November 15, 2008

AS I LAY DYING/AUSTRIAN DEATH MACHINE vocalist Tim Lambesis will be interviewed on tonight's (Saturday, November 15) edition of 96.7 KCAL FM's "The Moshpit" show with host Mike Z. between 10:00 p.m. PT and 2:00 a.m. PT. The rest of the country (and world) can stream the show live at www.kcalfm.com.

AS I LAY DYING will film its first-ever DVD this month, to be released in the spring of 2009. The DVD will include live performances, backstage footage, interviews, photos, production videos, and a documentary on the group covering everything from the bands humble beginnings to the their massive success as one of today's leading metal acts.

Commented AS I LAY DYING frontman Tim Lambesis: "We couldn't be more excited about this short stretch of shows we have planned in the Southern California area. Playing shows all across Southern California is the perfect framework for our upcoming DVD. We are all proud San Diegans and even more proud of the diehard fans we have extending up the California coast. Each show on this mini tour will be distinctly different so that we capture every side of what AS I LAY DYING is all about as well as what we've gone through in the seven and half years of our history. These are shows you won't want to miss."

AS I LAY DYING live/DVD shoot dates:

Nov. 17 - San Marcos, CA @ Jumping Turtle
Nov. 21 - Anaheim, CA @ The Grove

The yet-to-be-titled DVD is being directed and produced by Denise Korycki, who also produced and directed the CANNIBAL CORPSE DVD "Centuries of Torment", so expect this DVD to be packed with amazing live footage, interviews, and much more! The DVD also marks AS I LAY DYING's first release since "An Ocean Between Us", which was released August 21, 2007 and entered The Billboard 200 chart at No. 8.
